Oh,my goodness, not at all, no disrespect taken at all...

Honestly, I novel myself that I actually remember when George Washington was appointed to lead the British Army to defeat the French in the French and Indian war after their top British General Robert Dinwiddie told the other British officers that he wanted George Washington, an American, to lead their army...

That must have been embarrassing to the British officers, but George's military leadership qualities stood out like a sore thumb compared to the British officers who were incompetent and completely inept...

Actually, that was how Washington's name became a household name all throughout the colonies, it was big news everywhere among the colonies at that time that "one of ours" led the British army to win that war...

That took place from 1754 to 1763...

I remember that very day like it was only yesterday!!!

Who can forget those great times???
