A press release today fills in some of the details as to what PFCK and Hawthorne will be doing to increase shareholder value. PFCK reports that an international REIT managed by Hawthorne will be investing $40 million in international real estate development; Peacock will be involved in managing the investments and will receive equity in a joint venture with this REIT. Why not pick a company located overseas for this? Because then the value would not be reflected in the price of a company trading in the US securities markets. I'm more certain that this is an undiscovered gem than when we started here. The press release is on Yahoo! (I'm having trouble reproducing the link here--don't know why).
