I couldn't get into the link without registering to get a password, but tracked the article down elsewhere. The article notes that data storage density is advancing faster than the power of semiconductors - and new "giant magnetoresistive" (GMR) and "micro-electro-mechanical systems" (MEMS) may push data storage capacity to levels never before imagined. Will disk drive devices replace semiconductor memory chips in some applications?

In any event SEG should benefit, along with contract manufacturers that serve SEG like SFLX. Great article, thanks Starowl:
