Slacker:
It just seemed too coincidental that the 2024 guidance given in Feb 24 was from $625 to $675 million. Then, around the time of the article was first received in March, in the April 1st qtr CC, UDC changes the year's guidance to $645 to 675M. The timing may have been driven by the article stating that a blue had met commercial specs.

Then comes the 2nd qtr CC, in early August, where UDC seemed to be starting to draw back on end of year products having blue. UDC changes, for the worst, the guidance to $625 to $645M. This is after the article was revised (do not know how but my guess is some hiccups towards the negative). The revision of the article may have been the reason for the BIG guidance change.

In the Nov 3rd qtr CC UDC now states that there will be a delay of months not years of blue getting into products. If the March article stated that they have a commercial blue then the hold up may be building a device that can accommodate the blue emitter.

Just my 3 cents
Oh wait, the penny is out
Just my two nickels!!!
