Very interesting indeed. I had some of my MDCO stock called and it was only 5/16 over the strike price. Not a problem though, that WAS the plan. It was a great trade returning about 2 5/8 points on a 16 1/4 purchase price over 5 weeks. Actually...I just checked 5 minutes before the open. Looks like MDCO is bidding 17 3/8 by 17 1/2 (it closed at 17 13/16), so it doesn't appear that it will open higher after all.
