Yup,

I've learned that even a great acquisition, the opportunity for impairments is always something to take advantage of.

Write down the blue sky and high priced inventory that was bought.

Any CIO learned that at the MBA school.

Hi Bob, turns out my guess was right.
From an earlier press release ULBI said the acquisition was going to be slightly accretive this year. However as you mentioned a impairment charge might be taken against inventory that was acquired? Bringing it’s value down to inventory that might be obsolete?
Due to the time required to complete the accounting close and audit of the financial results of Electrochem Solutions, Inc., which the Company acquired on October 31, 2024, Ultralife is reporting fourth quarter results later than it has in the past, in contrast to its established practice of reporting fourth quarter results on the Thursday of the sixth week after year end.
