Given that the question was about holding a stock for 100 years, I think a main concern is not current valuation but instead is which company will still be around (in some form) in 100 years.

Probably no tech stock should be considered.

I was thinking food stocks were the ones to consider. Or maybe staples. Perhaps commodities.

Unilever may be a good pick as well.
