I thought Eastman Kodak would be a winner when I first bought a few shares in 1970. That was a looser but 30 years earlier my Grandma bought Chevron as her husband worked at the facility in Richmond CA. CVX my largest holding.

My guess is We may be The United States of North America in 100 years or may end up like Rome.

FWIW WPC my largest REIT holding + 12% in the last 9 days and still yields 5.6%. It get hard buying at lows and then see it going lower. Hopefully bottom is in. Almost all my WPC shares in the green and will slowly scale out of my high cost shares at/above $70/share.

I would rarely say a question is stupid, but considering I am not sure the united states is gonna be around for another 100 years predicting stock prices 100 years going forward is futile.
Haha, fair point. (My reply to E_K_S was meant to be a reply to this post – read it if you want :-))
