That is the hawkish, DNC, MSNBC view. The other view was that Putin was looking for assurances that Ukraine would not join NATO and have missiles directed toward Russia. Biden was not willing to give those assurances to Russia. In fact, the Biden team insisted that Ukraine had every right to join NATO if it so desired. Thus, the war.

Sounds to me you are only to happy to dogmatically accept whatever the DNC tells you. When the DNC told you in 1972 that the Vietnam war represented senseless killing and the dominoe theory was a lie, you accepted it. And now when the DNC tells you that the war in Ukraine was needed to prevent Putin from expanding his empire again and in the future, you buy into that too. I remained a Dove. You change in accordance with the DNC. As for Israel, I was a Dove for decades. Then I realized peace was impossible and the other side did not want it and willed only death.
