Good points. As far as Jay’s post - seasonality is not truly a prediction. It’s just an average of what tends to happen in the course of the year. In this case, it does become a bit of a prediction - because he tries to marry annual seasonality with a multi-year cycle. I can see how the 6 months or so of seasonal weakness *may* contribute to the longer cycle rolling over.
