hmmm,

if you're using a p/e of 40 with eps est. of $2.47 for 99 that would give a target price of $98.80?? i like this much better than $60;-)

i believe only one analysts went out on a limb and did a 5-yr projected growth rate of 38%.

So, let's play with something here:

assume eps est. of .05 for 1998 / p/e of 38 = $1.90 stock price
assume eps est. of $2.47 for 1999 / p/e of 38 = $93.86
assume eps est. of $3.40 for 2000 / p/e of 38 = $129

numbers used are considering 1999 est. come to fruition and SANG is able to grow eps by 28 from 1999 to 2000.

Even if you half the numbers, it's as if we've really got a winner here:

1998 stock price: $46.93
1999 stock price: $64.50

current stock price: $31.00 which gives us a range of 50-100% return over the next few years. i could live with that;-)

someone please feel free to rip me a new you know what with these numbers or post your own machinations.
