Bonefish, Trump was offering a good deal. Some metals and minerals for a us presence. There was no guarantee of a US presence. Signing it would mean signing over resources for nothing but a "Trust me, bro." Again, Trump thinks he holds all the cards. Trump thinks only a fool would give up everything MAGA has to offer. But Trump is the real fool here, because he is basically ignoring exactly WHY Ukraine is fighting so hard for its independence. That's how arrogant Trump is, to think that the war is completely senseless, and that neither side has any goals worth dying for.
