<<How would you feel if your country was attacked and the enemy took over 20% of your valuable land area?>> I would expect my government to act with intelligence for the protection of my country. Certainly not give into the whims of countries who are happy for long 10+ year wars to grind down a common adversary. There were a lot of countries out there ready to fight the Russians down to the last Ukrainian. Still figuring out ways to make it happen. This is why Politicians and CEO's of defense companies need to be fed to the front lines first in any war.
