Hi C.eif,

I've always expected the following Monday, maybe into Tuesday morning.

On the dividend blue chip stocks I track open interest on. Many had huge numbers in the Calls, and many of the strike prices were deeper in the money vs. where assignment DID happen.

The assignments were in unusually big open interest numbers. The Trump bump got a lot of people buying calls, and it kept going up to higher strike prices.

I think this week and its big swings helped get a lot of the assigned shares back in inventory (at a discount), but it took five days to get it done.

That's why I've held back to selling puts on Thursday and Friday.

Now that 2C-P is in the mid 30's, we've worked our way into a reversal next week.

CNN also confirms a lot of volatility with extreme greed.

A quick dip to teens or twenty's and I'll back up the truck and do some plain old buying.

Bob
