That was a good video by Katie Hopkins. I left the UK in 1986 for the reasons she spoke of, and everything she said has been experienced in the same way. The UK's social and political development ran parallel to that of the USA even though there was the revolutionary war to make the USA independent. The parliamentary system was part of that development. This movie scene is roughly accurate. I think Charles 1st would approve of the performance by A.G -g- That bashing of the door procedure continues and is still part of the Parliamentary ceremony today. Things have not improved much since then, in both our countries. Our laws and system of justice have been degraded. Both our countries have versions of this.
