It still is. Our technology to intercept is better, but the number of attack vectors grow faster. Invading and annexing territory doesn't change that.


If Trump is able to return our country to a more efficient and fiscally responsible position, where Stacy Abrams isn't out spending $2 billion to replace working stoves in poor people's homes, perhaps we can come to a time where it is feasible to properly defend the nation from nuclear attack.

But yes, it is an ongoing effort which requires attention at this time. We don't have a clue WTF China is up to.

Four years out chasing DEI and housing illegal aliens has taken a toll. Hopefully, Republicans will sort out the economic mess we're in and be able to prevent the waste now in defense, and allow us to focus on modern programs that are relevant today.
When I drive by Barksdale Air Force Base without seeing a B52 coming in overhead, I'll know the torch has been passed.
