>> Now it's all transactional.

Can you give me ANY scenario in which there is a cogent rationale for continuing this war, and what the end-game might be? Are you thinking there is some reasonable scenario in which Ukraine wins this war, and if so, at what human toll in lives including children, what economic terms do you envision this win occurring.

(I will just say that the cogent estimates I see are that best possible case scenario gives Ukraine a 20-25% chance of regaining significant land if the West joins in, and unstated (but large numbers of) casualties on both sides).

So, you tell me what losses you anticipate given your way forward that isn't "transactional".

And tell me, in this transaction, what makes it worthwhile to either of the participants in this transaction?

If someone can pose a credible way forward other than Ukraine negotiating to keep what it can, I'm willing to listen. I just haven't seen anyone doing that.

We used to have honor, standing up for values and upholding our commitments as a general rule. We used to treat people with at least a modicum of dignity. We respected truth. We practiced stewardship. We used our heads.

lol literally none of that is true

>> Since when has Ukraine become the center of the universe? Ukraine did not cause the new paradigm.

I'm not the person going on about it. I'm simply responding to those who have elevated its importance to world war status.

We used to be collaborative, structuring for win-wins. We used to have honor, standing up for values and upholding our commitments as a general rule. We used to treat people with at least a modicum of dignity. We respected truth. We practiced stewardship. We used our heads.

There is no win to be had. Now, it is about mitigation.

You can't have supported Joe Biden -- who caused this war -- and at the same time say you "used your heads". You used your highly partisan commitment, and it caused this.

So, we can't go blaming everyone else. We need to be honest about why this problem exists and only then can we move forward with really cleaning it up in an effective manner. Otherwise, it is mopping up the water while the leak is still flooding the place.

>> The current position on Ukraine is a product of that loss of values, not the cause.

How many more dead does your honor and commitment think are justified in the instant case? And dignity?

The truth here is they had a war, we gave billions. And it wasn't enough.

What is happening is the restart of Make America Great Again values unburdened by the woke debauchery of obama's third term and his ever shrinking supplicants.

Now it's all transactional.
Could you tell me what act is MORE "TRANSACTIONAL" than a president refusing to bring the astronauts home immediately because he doesn't want to have to publicly credit Musk with the "save" in the midst of an election?

This creep Biden literally left these people floating in space for months longer because of his vanity. Yet, you find Trump to be someone to complain about as "transactional"?

I hate to say it, but you are like the rest: You see whatever it is you want to see because you cannot admit political wrong-headedness. You might want to work on that.
