The fishing thing continues its rise to a VERY high level of interest and activity. With more games showing up on the computer, does it not make sense that more people will be aware and interested, and also they will desire the opportunity to play the same game away from the computer, with a handheld.
I don't know how the computer Nintendo version works, but I doubt it will have the same interactive appeal that the actual casting and vibrating thrill one gets from the Radica game.
The lack of games is the one real concern since it now not only misses sales for Radica, but allows the imitators the opportunity to have their products bought due to lack of originals in the stores.
I mean if you are shopping for a Radica fishing game, and they don't have it or are out of stock, they generally will substitute for what IS available, in this case the competition or worse, fakes.
