If you had a clue about how bad the Russian economy is you would know Russia is no match for Nato even without US involvment. Russia has a WW2 military and even expanding in Ukraine would be a total meat grinder of untrained WW2 led soldiers. They are bigger than Ukraine but running out of solders and guns. And there economy is such they have no more money to buy what is needed to replace all the weapons lost. The do not have air superiority in the skies over the border with Ukraine. Russia cannot advance and Ukraine cannot take back what they lost. It is a spread out trench warfare. Life will be crapier for the people of Ukraine. Life is getting crapier for those in Russia, not at bad as Ukraine.
