I've been watching some documentaries on the Nazis, not because I believe Trump is Hitler or a Nazi, but because I do believe he's an authoritarian out for retribution on his enemies. youtube.com The Nazis were pre-digital, even pre-MSM, so things happen in an accelerated fashion now. The Nazis wanted to return to an imagined, fictional past, and so does Trump. Hitler was an actual decorated WWI soldier who did a risky, dangerous job and believed they didn't lose the war but were 'betrayed'. Trump believes the 2020 election was stolen from him. Hitler was eventually brought down, but documentary series focuses on his enablers, who paid the ultimate price for what they did to the world. Not history repeating, but history rhyming.
