For what it's worth, I think tonyt has done an excellent job
of short-to-medium term prognostication about LGND, if perhaps
a tad abrasively now and then. I hope he keeps sharing his
views. I was
especially impressed when he labelled it a buy in the 12's
right after earnings were released, despite bearishness just
a few days before. However, this illustrates that to take
advantage of his prognostications, you have to be watching
the market (or reading this thread) on a daily basis, maybe
checking in several times a day. Many of us can't do this,
or don't want to. So, he may be an irritant and distraction
to those people, but useful to others. Also useful to have
someone around who is *not* necessarily a long-term true believer,
just to help keep perspective.

FWIW, I halved my 2/3 position on the last pop (was out of town without
a limit order for the big pop day itself) for a nice profit, also
made a (retrospectively hilarious) small quick profit on warrants
(bought the day Andreas Helke posted about 'em... thanks). And
I am comfortable with the 1/3 I have remaining as an investment in
a company with probably a strong future ahead. Will I pop it out
at 17-20? Depends on the broader market, how much news is to
come soon from LGND, etc...

Best wishes to those of all time horizons, from someone who tries
to keep a variety of time horizons in mind...

Howard
