I think the Ukrainian people have that right, and only them, to decide how much they want to sacrifice for their freedom!
I agree. If they can do it without us, then go for it. Other than that, it is going to be Trump's decision, and he's pretty dead set against it.

According to Gallup’s surveys conducted in August and October 2024:

  • 52% of Ukrainians want to negotiate an end to the war as soon as possible, which could be interpreted as leaning toward a resolution that might involve concessions rather than total surrender.
Statistics are hard to come by on this, so Gallup is probably as good as can be had. These people are ready to shut it down, and they do have that right. And Trump is not going to fund Ukraine digging in and fighting until no Ukrainians are left.

Fighting to the death makes no sense when you have no chance of winning.
