I'm not sure I understand your question, dave, perhaps you could rephrase it ? There were some links posted about a BAI (bank association) conference looking at the impact of new e-commerce payment methods on the traditional stuff: check processing, ATMs, ACH etc. Banks are involved in the different parts of this $200bn to differing extents, as are some non-bank service providers. It has been stated elsewhere that BARS is one of the biggest paper processors in the country. Nonetheless, it's not clear what these players can do at this stage other than align themselves with one or (quite likely) more than one of the new players.
