Inode, if I ran Twitter, I would ensure that outages like the one that they just experienced today would NEVER happen again.

I would even resign if it kept being a regular occurrence like it seems to be at Twitter these days.

After all, what do you think would happen if Apple Maps or Google Maps experienced regular outages?

Or Yahoo Mail or Gmail for that matter?

Heck, my wife and I can't even tolerate an outage on our home broadband service for very long.

And yes, I know that Twitter is nothing more than social media, and that its functionality isn't as critical as maps, email, or last-mile broadband service.

But given how bRiLlIaNt the Muskperger is, I expect much more from him than I'm seeing in terms of actual results.

For a guy as rich as he is, and for a guy who privately owns Twitter and has no obligation to show profitability, it baffles my mind to see him neglect basic reliability when it comes to his own baby.
