I don't get privatizing SS. Anybody know the practical difference between privatizing SS and people investing on their own outside a government framework?

Rachel ran that clip on her show last night. He really was steamed! I know you and I are both familiar with Larson as we have posted in the not too distant past about his proposals on Social Security.

Exactly and should be no surprise.

The Republicans have been working on privatizing government since Nixon.

And it is such a bad idea e.g. privatizing prisons, or schools.

And the way Trump is doing it is right out of Naomi Klein's book:" Shock Doctrine'.

A duly elected democratic government should run government, NOT billionaires.

They are NOT elected!!!!!

And what is depressing is most MAGA don't/can't understand that concept.

Democracy is what allows people to manifest their destiny, without masters like kings, dictators, or tribal chiefs.

And dictators, like Trump and Musk, are what the people get when they abdicate to billionaires.

And the Republican party is owned by billionaires and why people should vote blue down ticket.
