Inode, let me try another trick that falls under the same category that I like to call "math."

The article reported that the federal deficit for the first five months of the current fiscal year is $1.15T, and that is 38% higher than that of the same time period in the previous fiscal year.

Given that the deficit was $1.8T in FY2024, a 38% increase would result in a projected deficit of $2.5T!

If you don't believe me, let me show you my work as you requested:

$1.8T * 1.38 = $2.484T

Since you seem to be in denial over the deficit even exceeding $2T this year, you might want to tell the Dogebois to step up their work, because they need to cut an ADDITIONAL $484B in spending over the next seven months.

And they need to achieve it without double-counting or triple-counting any cost savings, as they seem prone to doing.

Perhaps you can lend your services as a CPA guy pro boner ... LOL

Sincerely,
Tenchu the CPU guy
