Arik TG, OTOH the market will get some degree of support from the lower interest rates as Asia continues to weaken; its the only decent explanation for the recent craziness I've heard (with AOL I haven't heard a decent explanation). Thats really surprising to me, but:

IF the US somehow clearly shows that it is not impervious to the Asia mess, it'll lose its safe haven status in conjunction with weakness in the market for a double whammy on interest rates and the market. If the Asian markets seem to have bottomed out when this happens, this is a triple whammy as some of the recent inflows go back there at least temporarily. Right now, have to go back to work, but does this make any sense? (There's also the economic stimulus aspect of the lower interest rates, which could have a beneficial impact re business conditions, which further obfuscates the rigged fundamentals going forward.)
