IMO - ADSK would not be a good short.

I did some work for the company. It has excellent management and impeccable financials. The company is regaining sales momentum with R14 of Autocad. It just announced a blowout quarter + a major stock buyback + there is a dividend.

Someone started a value investing thread a little while back and I recommended ADSK as a good long (it was then around 35 a share). I still think the stock has significant upside.

On the other hand - it seems that every piece of garbage we stumble across here rockets upward while the underlying fundamentals get worse - so it stands to reason that if you found a stock with improving fundamentals and announce it on this thread....it should tank!!! :^D

Hope you didn't short ADSK.

I still think it's a great value (I continue to buy) and I see no reason why it won't penetrate its old highs.
