At scale FOREX is a function of leverage. That's why the daily notional values are so obscene, similar to the largest credit/debt traders without even getting into all the derivatives based upon some of which are convoluted in structure.

Even for retail pikers FOREX offers 50-100x leverage. Basically modern day bucket shops, and crypto has done same for many years already. Personally I'm fine with the plain vanilla leverage of index and various other futures contracts including currencies and not aggressively maximizing it. There are short term tax advantages and can sleep better at night. :-)

Old Ray has been putting out free chapters of his latest book on the developing debt crisis but think he hasn't yet released the final complete PDF unless I missed it. Good luck to all for March Madness.
