Khalil, all i did was delete the entire folder called "AIM" in explorer. it has not bugged me since. It was eXtremeLy annoying though. eric

Khalil - Try this. Open up the IM, then go to the setup button on the bottom of the box. Under setup, you should see a bunch of tabs at the top. Go to the misc tab, then deselect Start AIM when windows starts. That should stop AIM from loading up each time you boot. This won't kill AIM, but it won't bother you anymore unless you want to use it. To kill it, go under your Communicator folder, then AIM, then delete. Of course, there will probably be some crap left over in the registry, but don't bother with it unless you have the time and know regedit... S.
