Inode, I do a lot of analysis of ANSI 835/837 files for health care claims, and I find Grok to be a highly effective tool for that application which allows me to convert claim data to JSON in a couple seconds, and it will pinpoint encoding errors (which is what I'm usually looking for) instantly. Just a bit of advice. I strongly suggest that you stop using Grok for such applications due to HIPAA concerns. There are many alternatives out there that are either already in production or up-n-coming. They have a health care focus, which means they take HIPAA very seriously. Tenchusatsu
