Actually, Sparta trades under 1. After skimming over the filings you might want to verify the existence of the patent with relationship to Sparta.

bob, In addition to 200 issued patents, LGND has about 200 more pending. Yes it is possible for there to be interference. In fact such a situation exists between LGND and Roche over Panretin. LGND has asked for an interference hearing because they filed first (which is the criteria for everywhere but the US In the US, its the discovery date, so lab notebooks usually come into play. I don't think that LGND is worried about Sparta (or Roche, since Ligand scientists discovered 9-cis retinoic acid, which is Panretin).
