Paul - Well, well, well - UNDERWATER on EVERYTHING!

Nice short calls on Intel - Your Microsoft is doing even BETTER!

So, with all these financial losses under your belt, you make up a little fictional story.

I suppose that makes you feel better.

Yes, Paul - you are a victim.

People bought Intel a long time ago and made money.

People bought Intel a couple of months ago and made money.

You shorted Intel a couple of months ago and LOST money.

But IT'S NOT YOU'RE FAULT!

You are a victim!

Maybe it's the water you drink - poisoned by villains in the night sent there by Intel!

Maybe it's a cabal organized to see you sink into financial depravity carried out by the Fiondella-For-Financial-Failure Society - a grand conspiracy.

Maybe you were just plain dumb wrong.

Maybe you were just early.

If Intel was a good short at $69, $74, $79, $81, $84 and $94 - it should still be a good short at $93+.

Don't forget to short Dell - I'm trying to help you, Paul -- Really!

Paul

Paul F. -- <<visit Intel with your tin cup.>>

Yeah, Paul, we've seen you frequently visit Intel with your little tin cup, your little red cap, and your cute little verbal dance. Just wondering - where is the organ grinder?

I've been reading Paul Engel's comments, as well as many other knowledgeable folks here, for many months now - a little over two years, I think. Their advice, insight and tremendous knowledge (business and technical) are invaluable both for the novice and the expert.

Folks like you come and go - usually after losing a pile and foaming at the mouth for a while. If you'd shut up and listen, you might learn something, but for some reason, there are those who don't seem to come equipped with an "off" button.

Don't get me wrong, I don't necessarily want you to go away, the comic relief is great. And I'm sure Engel and the others don't need my assistance. I just wanted you to know where you stand in the "regards" of one small-time investor...

Fiondella,

Try this:

Take your post about the Paul Engel school of investing, but change the time frame to 1997 instead of 1998. Same price, $94 per share. Same quote from you about Paul's philosophy:

"you spend all of your days on the Internet ... hyping the company to those that have to use their own real money to buy the stock at $94 a share."

Now cut back to the present. The Stock is still $94 per share AFTER A TWO FOR ONE SPLIT. The "suckers" who listened to Paul Engel have doubled their money, 100% in a year, more or less.

So what is Paul Doing wrong, he's made a bunch of "suckers" rich, and harmed no one.

Paul is hyping the company because he sees it for what it is, a great company. YOU are the one who doesn't get it: Intel is a great company, one of the top ten large caps on the entire planet from an investor's perspective, and arguably THE best. It is not over priced, not at a P/E anywhere under 30 (which I don't think it has ever acheived), and under these conditions, while some times are better than other, ANY TIME is the right time to buy if you are an investor with an intermediate term perspective (say two to five years).
