Thanks for posting that NTAP press release as I had not read it yet.
Glad to see that somebody here is paying attention;-)

PERHAPS the European ISP markets _are_ the ideal feeding ground for this 'new architecture' of caching.The Europeans do not have fiber coming out the wazoo like the US does. Furthermore, the Worldcom's of the world have INDEED made tremendous investments in WDM in their US backbones. Bandwidth in the US is expected to be cheap once they get it all up and running.

Europe is a different story. Due to the existing lack of backbone infrastructure in Europe, this part of the world might be just the right place for this new caching architecture to evolve.

BTW, thanks for sharing that ANCR hiring insight. Let's hope he is trilingual. :-)
