Gauzy is not a licensing company. Its business is in many products with smart glass and also safety tech.
Then it might be in Gauzy's best interest to buy RFI's IP and do away with 15-percent royalty Safety Tech is paying RFI. For all I know, that 15 percent may be the reason the following isn't being commercialized right now:

"In January 2023, Research Frontiers, Gauzy Ltd. and their customers showed over 115 thousand attendees at the CES new ways to benefit from SPD-SmartGlass... [including] Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) / Camera Monitoring Systems (CMS) for long-body on-road vehicles."

If Gauzy's right about the future demand for their CMS/ADAS, that 15 percent could go along way toward buying something they can use. Like a corner on the SPD IP market?
