Re <<so far i guess you made a few pennies for the risk….

are you bored? needing something to fill your time?

Yes 0.20, entertained, and needing to make waking up at night due to jet-lag worthwhile :0)

Re <<that's just day trading man>>
I term it ‘cloud mining’ or ‘cloud-atm extraction’, and besides, need to up exposure to GDXJ under the circumstances of GDXJ underperformance against GLD, expect eventual catchup, so as long as harmless / neutral to cash holdings in the meantime, might as well; shall keep doing until GDXJ level-up to GLD in spirit
The combined short-put / long-call position is better by 0.20 as of now-now, so okay
Not day-trade; likely shall hold until May 25 expiration. I do not do day-trades.

Re FCX short-put trades done earlier, the trades went against me so I doubled-up, for I need more copper-gold, and FCX good in my book. I only short puts and long covered calls, mostly, and on names am willing to accumulate, so no more risk than usual equity holdings. Besides, need to fund new near-super computer.

I am adding to the wager at the edges, known in Chinese language as ‘planting flowers at the edge of the lawn’. At some juncture may liquidate GLD to fund more GDX and GDXJ, and SIL / SLV.
