Spry Nilo Silvi, who uses an exercise bike and works out every day to keep his figure trim, told Il Messaggero newspaper he was delighted when he was approached and asked whether he would mind "making a film with beautiful young girls.'' Silvi, who has been married twice and has six children but is now single, replied: "For me it would be a pleasure.'' He was worried at first, though: "Will I have to pay?'' Reassured that he, instead, would be paid for his performances, Silvi said the project took off. "We talked about the possibility of filming some group scenes. I said I was willing, I'm not ashamed at all. "But there was one thing I wouldn't give way on - I won't use a condom because at my age, I could have some problems with it. I prefer doing it without, the old fashioned way.'' Asked whether he worried about AIDS, Silvi added: "I'm old but I'm not stupid. They've told me they are all young, healthy girls. Anyway AIDS takes 10 years to develop. I'll die first.''
