Dr. Soon-Shiong seems to have a growing number of opinions, many political, and many scientific, that seem out of place, imo.It looks that he is also using his newspaper ownership in ways that don't seem appropriate. I've tried hard not to comment on his somewhat "truth stretching" views, but am finding it increasingly difficult to remain confident. I continue to like the science behind IBRX, but starting to doubt whether his claims are all founded in fact. Go back and look at his projections for milestone targets for growth in revenues, margins, etc. and none of the timelines have been hit. Instead of "transparancy" we get "silence." Not sure how much longer I will hang on, as I have a very sizeable investment in IBRX and losing confidence in leadership. Yes, IMMU was very similar, but in this case DR. S is the majority shareholder, there is very little institutional ownership on a % basis, and "transparency" is worse than it was with IMMU. Hopefully this will change in the near term, as it's getting harder for me to stick with leadership that might have a differant agenda than my own. Anyway, just my opinions, none of which are anything but that, and all of which are intended to send a message that total "transparancy" would go a long way in regaining my confidence. Good weekend to all.

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your clearing up what was bothering you.

Obviously, while widely circulated in the body, the spike protein does not literally go into "every cell", and that statement was an oversimplification which got clarified when he spoke about the more nuanced "ACE2 receptor" portal, which is found all over the body, including lungs, heart, kidneys, intestines and endothelial cells lining blood vessels.

His claims about his so-called T-cell "shield" being better than vaccines approved for Covid are what he is trying to prove to the FDA, starting with Lynch syndrome.

Thus, claims about where the spike proteins are found and what they do in so-called "long covid" are controversial parts of his theory, but not misstatements of scientific fact, IMHO.
