Well on point one.. Over alignment for trade especially got us into this mess.. taking the easy way out is what we teach kids to avoid.. being Chester to the US' Spike doesn’t work either.. tariff on Chinese EVs ROTFLMAO.. what a useless gesture. China would never annex us.. but we need to diversify our trade.. period.. we need to be able to simply tweak a bit if we get stupid $hit tariff nonsense.. Russia might like to :) imagine the arctic ocean as a giant inland sea.. politically we would never align ourselves with China or Russia... OTOH anyone that believes that US government was EVER Canada's friend... is delusional. Point two we simply agree.. really there is enough actual pollution to worry about without messing with a cornerstone of organic chemistry which is not pollution. ,.,. 'nuff said.. Point three Canadians vote for them because far far too many Canadians have no idea just how precarious our situation is.. The folks they elect are either stupid or have another agenda. I don't understand how so many can be blind to imbalances in transfer payments for one.. I have a Liberal bent when it comes to health care (although I pay to see my GP so my service is pretty much OK see you tomorrow or even later today.. ) Plus my GP is a pitbull.. a gem.. Not everyone can do that though or is that lucky. Also education but we need better rules.. Home Depot for example helps subsidize its part timers' educations but you NEED to keep your marks up.. it is a meritocracy mentality. It's not just Liberals.. How many times did you groan in the Mulroney era at the words Meech Lake Accord or Charlottetown Accord.. Senate reform should have been a single issue.
