TSO: The hard drive companies have been abused enough. That was my sense. Their cycles take much less than semis. Perhaps a year in absolute worst case scenario. That places ramp up in demand sometime this June or no later than Sep quarter. That means if WDC can survive the present pain they should do all right. About APM and that group I looked into them a bit - INVX is my fav there. But most of the products there were so above my understanding or willingess to understand that I did only very preliminary work and can't unequivocally state that one of HTCH, INVX, APM, RDRT etc etc is better than the other. I just know hard drives better... Besides unit demand for hard drives is still strong (remind you of the semis?) and I have problems trying to decide which of the many technologies in the component group are going to do much better than the rest.
