This well may be, but the deed is done and there will be no going back. The U.S has proven itself to be an unreliable partner and the world will be busy creating new supply lines and payment processing networks. It will not matter if the next administration resurrects Adam Smith himself to lead the trade policy. Nobody will take a chance that the admin which will replace them won't reverse those policies.
