If the index is too simplistic, however, finding information on the Internet will become increasingly unmanageable. What can users do to protect their interests in this time of flux? Eddie Correia, editorial development analyst for CMP Publications, says CMP chose a search engine with open application programming interfaces (APIs). OTEXF will run well into its 20's as suggested by Barron. This week's Barron says Internet stocks make a comeback and the trend continues. It points out USWB, NTKI, SPLN all have a nice run recently. It then says Open Text is cheap compared to those yet-to-make a profit stocks. If Barron is right and OTEXF plays a catch up role, then it is not difficult to predict this stock will move into its 20's before it consilidates, just as SPLN, USWB, NTKI, ONSL all did in the past few weeks when they ran into the 20's after a breakup in their low-middle 10's.
