That could happen but I highly doubt it simply because Trump is destroying confidence.

Two points of interest come to mind
:
1. The massive axe taken to the Federal Workforce and Federal Programs will add to unemployment and cripple the economic engine those Programs created

2. Massive Tariffs will impact consumer demand and seriously hurt consumer confidence via higher prices.

The idea that Tariffs will bring back jobs to the USA is total nonsense. It will take years, 5-10 imo, to recreate manufacturing infrustructure enough to have any major impact on jobs. Made in America sounds nice but that is all it will be, a slogan. Products made overseas are done so simply because it is cheaper to do so. A 20% tariffs will do little to nothing to change that except costing 20% more on American consumers at the cashier.

Let us be honest here. Tariffs are being implemented to raise revenue the Federal Government desperately needs. That is all.
