Dual Citizenship in the United States. Dual citizenship had previously been banned in the United States, but in 1967 the US Supreme Court struck down most laws forbidding dual citizenship. The laws have changed and used to be complicated. I've been a dual citizen since birth and have never been naturalized. I've lived most of my life in the US and consider myself a Yank.. :-)
