Bonefish, Taiwan offers other stuff besides chips. There's packaging, boards, system assembly, finished products, etc.

The semiconductor ecosystem is incredibly complex. It'll take months to get any clarity from the Trump regime regarding what people have to pay tariffs on.

Remember when I said "wrong policy, wrong data, implemented the wrong way by the wrong man?" Every single "wrong" that I mentioned applies to semiconductors.

It's more than just importing simple commodities and goods, which is what I suspect your "skin in the game" is or was. You think you have a clue, but you don't. Like Elon Musk.

China strikes back at Trump with 34 percent tariff — bans some rare earth exports to the U.S. (Tom's Hardware)

Trump is likely to retaliate with even higher tariffs on Chinese imports, because to him, "CHY-NAH started it."

The uncertainty alone will freeze all trade between China and America, all because Trump thinks his Arnold Palmer is longer.

Wrong policy, wrong data, implemented the wrong way by the wrong man.

Tell me. What do you think will happen to investment when people figure out Trump will always be Trump and will never settle on a consistent policy?
