I wonder how "Fiscally Conservative's" double down is working these days? spx 4600 should get a bounce. If it doesn't then the market is REALLY in for a spin. So far they're just blowing foam off the draft beer.

Bonefish,
To compare those to world trade is a far reach. A real whopper.
The point is that you, like dumbass Trump, think global free trade is sucking money out of America.

Taiwan, for example, is running a "trade deficit" of $73.9B.

According to the Orange Dumbass, that means Taiwan is "sucking that much money" out of America every single year. Every Taiwanese citizen among their population of 23.6M is making an average of $3,131.36 USD off of America, if you follow Trump's "logic."

It doesn't work that way because you aren't taking into account the value of Taiwan's exports to America. From semiconductors to goods that are "Made In Taiwan," we benefit from everything they export here. They make it cheaper, we consume it, and our consumption-driven economy grows.

Meanwhile Taiwan ends up with more USDs to spend on stuff like oil (since Taiwan produces absolutely no oil of its own), building materials, new manufacturing, and yes, luxury items of their own.

Both Taiwan and the U.S. benefit from free trade.

But in comes tHe sMaRtEsT mAn iN tHe wOrLd thinking that Taiwan is sucking money out of America.

What a fukkin' dumbass. And his supporters think he's better managing the economy than Sleepy Joe or Word Salad Harris?

He has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he does not.

Wrong policy, wrong data, wrong implementation, wrong man.
