So, are you're telling us that your budding chemist's mind could not conceive of the finished product from the recipe on the box just because the list of ingredients didn't call for mocks? I'd say you've come a long way.

As for the word "sex" on the crackers, about 15 years ago there was a guy who said that Madison Avenue types were selling us with subliminal messages in the glossy ads in or magazines and on the TV. He wrote a couple of books, complete with some dandy illustrations which, by the way, included said crackers emblazoned with the word "sex."

I don't remember the names of the books or their author. I'll try to dig them out and report further.
