So? He likes the explanation. The fact that it doesn't match actual facts is not even a disappointment. Just a perception to be managed.
In all cases, the new tariffs are in effect until superseding tariffs replace them.

If you know nothing else about Trump you should know by now that everything is negotiable, always.
