Good grief-there are a lot of posts. And they're about Dogs-- so I can't play.
I'm very allergic to dogs.
I couldn't even watch Lassie when I was little.
Dogs have big muddy feet and bad breath.
I can feel myself beginning to itch just reading these posts.
Excuse me, I have to go find the Benadryl.

Janice,

I too felt puffed with pride when reading that post.

Great Danes are the other breed pops into my mind when I think of short-lived dogs. In fact St. Bernards and Great Danes lead the pack in the group that doesn't hang around very long.

I apologize for my seemingly sexist reference in my blurb about the Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier's personality. I should have included Katherine Hepburn and Claudette Colbert in my description. In explanation let me say that my SCWT was a male, hence the unintended sexist comparison in my foray into anthropomorphizing.
