Turning all your friends and neighbors into enemies is not usually in ones best interest. The best way to deal with bullies is to punch them in the face, and we have it coming.
You're confusing "bullying" with "negotiating".

Bullying is closer to what NEA and AFT use when trying to extract higher pay for the many of the worst teaches on the planet. Or UAW when demanding more money for unskilled workers, or the Longshoremen for refusing to go back to work unless technological advances necessary to be competitive with China are banned under their union contract. These are hostage situations, not negotiations.

Trump, OTOH, does negotiate fairly and in good faith (listen to Tom Barrack's speech just ahead of Trump on the final night of the 2016 nominating convention).

In negotiations, the other guy isn't your friend. His job is to squeeze you 'til you bleed. Not to be a nice guy.

If you think that is strange, you should watch IRS Revenue Officers in action. (I once had one force a client to get a divorce in order that he be able to feed his family). Trump never did that, I guarantee.

Who are these "friends" you're talking about? You mean the ones we lavish our dollars on to keep them happy? Or even fight their wars for? Are you talking about our friends south of the border who transport fentanyl by the ton to kill our children?

With friends like that who needs enemies?
